Mindware’s exceptionally caring and qualified educators made our son realize his potential, and that a learning disability is not a disability at all.  Mindware’s staff create a safe, structured and nurturing environment, addressing the academic and social needs of each individual child, while embracing uniqueness and encouraging inclusivity.

Mindware Academy was for my son, who has an ASD diagnosis, a godsend. Not only did the school and its amazing, caring teachers help him to meet the academic goals, but most importantly, they have provided him with tools for emotional and social growth. I wish every school were like Mindware. Every student would benefit from its unique, warm and nurturing environment, where children are taught and encouraged to embrace their differences, to be respectful to others and care about others. I am forever grateful to Mindware Academy and its  supportive teachers and assistants, who have accepted my son just as he is, and have helped him grow and face his challenges all these years. A very special thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to the most dedicated, endearing, loving teacher I have ever known, Ms. Mancini.

– Carolina, parent of a graduate

Before MindWare, I hated school. I was falling behind and just gave up on doing things in class, and nobody even noticed.  At MindWare though, I looked forward to school and actually learned things that I didn’t think were possible! I realized if I work hard, I can do whatever I want to do!

We make a positive difference:

“At the beginning of this year this school was all new to me. I was a new student. I used to go to a different school. I think this school is a lot better than my old school because I get a lot more one on one time with my teachers and I have made a lot more friends.
This school has taught me that I can do whatever I put my mind to and that I am actually smart. My old school never taught me that kind of stuff. My most memorable moment this year is getting to meet all the amazing children at this school.
At the beginning of the year I was worried that I wouldn’t make any friends.
This has been the best year ever!”
~ Sydney Bearss, Former Student. Published in the Ottawa Citizen

“Finding out about your school was a pure blessing for our family. We watched our son be bullied due to his ‘differences’. Attending MindWare was the best thing that could have ever happened to him. He went on to re-integrate into the Public School system and finished high school in 4 years. He still speaks of the school regularly”

~ Parents of a former student who has since graduated from college
